Carlos Meets Christer Echo by FallenAngel

Last year I wrote out a small rough script for Carlos and Christer Echo and how they came to met each other. You saw some of that produced by Urbanmusiq last year. During the same time FallenAngel drew this very touching image of the two of them. I rediscovered it this morning while going through some files. In it he even included some of the flora and fauna from my story and sketches. He is always so awesome with stuff like that! You can see a giant crystal turtle in the background. He's twinky version of Christer is really cute with his sparkly hair. :P That Fallen, he even put in a broken moon in the background. Seeing these boys bathed in the pink twilight of the crystal planet makes me want to revisit this idea again some time soon.

The Hidden Penis of Micheal Whelans John Carter of Mars Revealed?

Okay before you think I am going all X-Files, no this is not gonna become a conspiracy blog! Yesterday Busiris asked me if the Mars books were porny. Well, no, they are not porny. The comics do bring in some sex, but the novels are more passionate then anything else. The lustful bond between John and Dejah is so strong and so pure that your imagination will run wild. The fact that John runs around basically naked as I have mentioned doesn't hurt either. There is an actual comic out there where the artist drew all the characters in the nude. It's a good interpretation, except for the fact that all the characters are well, pretty ugly. So that kind ruins the elegant eternal youth of the people the book describes.

Getting back to the blog topic, I have been a huge admirer of the Micheal Whelans covers for the John Carter of Mars series that he produced in the late 70's and early 80's for Del Ray Books for some time. So much so that I have sought out these copies on E-bay and in book shops. I think that he, along with Joe Jusko are the two artists that really did an excellent job capturing the characters. They created designs that truly matched the descriptions in the books. That being said, you have to wonder to what lengths he might have gone in capturing the spirit of the book.
I was getting some refs for an artist yesterday when my viewer increased the size of his Princess of Mars book cover. I glanced over at John Carter and noticed something between his legs. Now call me crazy and I am sure you will, but when you look at the area just right you can clearly make out the head and shaft of a circumcised penis. You can also kinda make out his testicles as well. Now you have to wonder, did he originally intend to show John Carters penis and was rejected by the publisher? Did he lightly paint over what was there, leaving hints that only could be found my increasing the image, using technology he never would have thought the common public would have? XD I thought John might have some cloth around his waist, but no, it's just shadows. John is naked here from the waist down. He has what may be a belt, but that's about it. Like the infamous face of Mars, am I just seeing something that isn't there? XD Well you be judge!






Now here are a couple things to note that might support this. Just like in the book, Dejah has exposed breast and does not appear to have any covering over her vagina, or bottom. You will notice the Tharks are naked around the groin, but are covered up. As you can see in his later covers, he was not afraid to draw John in the nude.

Some HOT John Carter of Mars to Melt the Polar Caps! Art by Baralust, FallenAngel and C & R

Got something I have been holding on to since the fall today. First off is a fantastic image that will blow you away, (I know the sketch knocked me from my chair when I saw it!) by the very talented artist team C & R. If you thought their Joey and Lil' Deep images were great, just wait till you check this out!

John and Kan are blazing into battle against a crimson Martian sky!

This was great to watch the team work on. Their pencil work is always so beautiful. The commission process went as smooth as silk. Once again I had fun making them draw foreskin. :P Hee hee. I showed them many images from the comics and we had a lot of back and forth regarding the characters. It was fun talking about the Martians and the fact that the characters needed decent costume designs in the comics cause in the nudity in the books. (Save for trappings.) They had fun as you can see recreating the costume designs. They made sure to give each chacter some distinction in his costume. They noticed that in the early comics Kan and John wore a very similar outfit to each other. So they provided them with some differences on the belts!
The team nailed the characters based on the comics and applied their own charms making them extremely attractive in the process. Any Marvel Employee would be proud of this! :D John stands firm and unmovable, ready to kick all kinds of butt..he's so big and beautiful. They gave him a youthful Herculean look. There is no better word for it, he is magnificent! (Oh gosh that chest and those shoulders....drool.) XD It's nice to see him bigger then Kantos Kan. It really makes sense that he would be. ^_^

Kantos with his hair swishing, laser blazing and that snake of an uncut cock swaying lose is a dreamboat. I love my long haired men and C & R did him with the kind of sauve style I adore! I like how his torso tapers into that big solid belt. He has a cute round nose too. Hee hee. They do a super job on muscular bodies, legs and arms, don't they? :D Aside from the perfect forms of the men, I gotta give them credit for all nice lighting effects. The shimmer on the sword from the rising Martian sun, peeking over the cliffs is fabulous. They added a gleam to the gold and giant ruby on Johns harness (as well as Kans) that really grabs you.

We all know FallenAngel is a drawing machine! During the time he was doing the panels for the John Carter story I wrote, we started to talk a lot about the books. He started to discover that the men do indeed wear pretty much nothing in the books and got some ideas regarding that. Since John is an immortal he would still be around today so here is his idea of what would happen if John met a modern day NASA robot. :P He's so crazy! XD



It's so nice to see Fallens Sexy John Carter again huh? I gotta give this man more subject matter with him! Love that nice round shape he gave his pectorals here. There is something about his kind eyes in this version that is sweet as well. You might notice that this version has the hair color found in the novels. Yep he actually did this at the same time as the panels. He surprised me with it one day and I had a good laugh. It got a lot of great comments when he posted it as well. It got people thinking of cross overs with modern characters. I keep thinking of Flash Gordon when I see that robot. :P

Now last, but in no way least is John Carter by Baralust! To this day it stands out as one of his most impressive pieces ever. There is so much going on in this image. John is being attacked by an entire army of bug men, slicing and dicing the fiends as at the same time, he is ensnared and soon to be ravaged by tentacles if he not careful! He even manages to squeezed in the world of Mars with the moons and a giant pyramid in the background! Baralust John turned more then a few heads, especially my own. He's one mountain of a man. He has the Baralust signature massive chest, sensual torso and 10 pound penis. Love the shading around his eyes. Now what makes this really so great? He did all this in pencil!!! This massive melee he did just sitting down at his desk with no computers! This scene would be hard to do at the PC, it's astounding to see someone do so many characters by hand these days. Barlust is out gay Sergio Aragones! LOL. I was very grateful to him and still am for this wonderful gift. I really should look into getting this colored huh? XD

Wow, another Baralust triumph! I agree, this is very 80's meets Class Comics, with all the Baralust charm! You did this all my hand? So much detail and great shading. You did an excellent job on his hair. With all the bug men, the tentacles and the sword play this for sure captures the essence of those great comic book covers! Beyond excellent job man. Your John Carter would make Burroughs proud!

So what is next for John Carter of Mars? Oh I have things planned you can bet on it!

Lerhoo's first victem by Rent

Sorry Holocene, looks like you got more then hoped for once again!

3 days ago Rent opened up his commissions for the first time. As you might recall rent drew up the Apis Bull not so long ago. So of course I already had a great sampling of his work to go by. :P Seeing that he does good beef boys, this time I chose Holocene the subject of the image. I wanted an image to show Holocene once again finding himself in trouble. What better character to choose then the brand new Lerhoo of Adonix? Here Holocene has stumbled upon Lerhoo and is trying to charm his way out of a situation he is just not ready for yet, but I don't think it's gonna work. I see a lot of running in this boys immediate future.
The commission went very well. Communication with Rent was very good. He sent me a sketch with larger images of the boys facial expressions, then in about a day sent me the final telling me I could still do some changes if needed. So the customer service was really good. I showed the sketch and final to Adonix who was very impressed with it from start to finish. Commenting on the sexyness of both men and the craving for beef he wound up with. :P I think he did a splendid job on Lerhoo, showing no issue with there only being the one image of him so far. He muscled up his legs and really gave his body a smooth yummy look to it with the many well blended shades of orange. The cocks on both characters are fantastic. It has not been decided if Lerhoo will be cut, or uncut at this point. So he is still ambiguously cut looking. I was thinking of swaying to uncut due to his feral nature. Either way that is one nice pink tipped wonder between his legs Rent drew. Always love a cock covered in foreskin and the pointed tip rent put on Holocene is very juicy. Holocene comes off as sweet and innocent, capturing the shot I was hoping for perfectly. In fact upon seeing the final I couldn't help but think of an even naughtier caption and Rent was kind enough to change it. I would definitely recommend Rent. In fact as I type this I can't help but think of other ideas I would love to see him take on. Rent captures a lot emotion in his art. His men are very cute and very sexy at the same time. He is relatively new to the gay art scene, submitting his first work in September of 2010. In that time you can see he has made many strides in his art style. If you like hyper hunky guys you really owe yourself a view of his ever expanding gallery. :D

Fallen Tron

I was watching Tron a few weeks go on YTV and started to think about just how sexy the character was. I had already stormed the Disney Store and got my friends Tron thermoses...I was already having 80s fever. I held back on buying the $24 light up Tron books though. $30 for a note pad is just too much, no matter how amazingly retro it was. So I thought, heck let's start some Tron Request. I have to admit that even though I was not HUGE on the movie when I was a kid, I did watch and enjoy it. I saw it again as a teenager and liked it even more. Tron is a fascinating character on a design level. The character is portrayed with many different color schemes even within the movie. It's going to be a lot of fun to see various artists draw him. I have to say my biggest disappointment in the new movie was the almost total lack of his character.

Okay this looks a little too 80s...sometimes I wonder if that man has a time machine at his disposal! :D Ha ha ha! Gotta love a cock with glowing strands of lights like magical veins on it right? XD The plain computer graphics background is the perfect touch. Have to admit this made me smile big time. XD

Lerhoo the Lion from that Amazing Adonix!

Continuing my massive effort to get caught up, I very proudly present to you guys this new character created by super talented Adonix! I have been holding on to him since mid December and it is about time I unleashed him to the world. The responses to him by friends have been more then positive. He has already been stealing hearts and capturing imaginations for weeks. Adonix has a real untamable lion here! In Adonix own words, Lehroo is the opposite of his Lil'Deep, a wild and dangerous character. His lust is out of control! I will have a lot of fun fleshing him out with some stories and images in the coming months. He drips sexiness. I can see him running through the jungle springing down on all fours, clinging from high tree tops, constantly on the hunt for travelers to add to his list of conquests. The men in his jungle wear very lose fitting clothes just in case they cross paths with him. :P The sex would be very rough with Lerhoo indeed. Perhaps he has a harem....With a character as beautiful as this, the ideas just pour from my mind! Hope you guys like him!

Boxers Strike a Pose For A New Poll

Yesterday night I started a new poll here. It's sort of popularity contest. I listed a bunch of the sites main characters hoping I didn't leave any out in the process. The most popular character will be guaranteed a commission a month till about June. (As long as I can arrange it of course.) The other top 9 I hope to include one a month for the rest of year till October/November. Maybe I will plan out a 10 character orgy. XD This way I can have fun focusing on characters patrons on the blog want to see and don't wind up neglecting characters I might otherwise do. It will be interesting to see who comes up on top. The poll will run till the end of the month. Please feel free to add comments regarding poses and pairings and artists interested in this can contact me as well. :D

The image above was done of course by Fallen Angel. When he drew the first image of them, he sketched this pose out beside it for the fun of it. I liked the pose enough to ask him to complete it. This image got the benifit of being put on the back burner as he worked on the first sketch and the Christmas image. Even though the sketch was great, Fallen took the time to improve on it time and again as he worked on the other projects. I just noticed now as I go through my files he sent me about 3 sketches as he had fun with them. :D He made a few changes along the way, for example Barbe lost a tooth he had sticking out of his mouth for example and was given some really sweet expressive eyes. In the sketch his eyes were much smaller and evil looking and his mouth more brutish looking.
Thanks Fallen it turned out great and even better then your original vision. :P

Warm Start to the New Year by Hydaria

I got this early yesterday and had to post this up ASAP! OMG! Hydarias group hug filled the cold January morning with some major warmth! It was super nice of Hydaria to send me this greeting featuring the characters he drew previously. :D It's nice to see the boys getting along, being bulled together in shirtless splendor. I found this while looking for some Disney stuff. That is one heck of a gay Robin Hood. You have to wonder if this image raised a few eyebrows back in the day. Guess it's okay since it's Bozo approved. (Now I am starting to understand the source of all the Krusty approved products.) That Robin Hood in a tank top would have had me salivating as a young man.

I never did get Pac-Man party, but I did see his amazing float in the Tournament of Roses parade. All the people in the marching band had Pac-Man on them and the thing shot out a barrage of streamers every so often. Really cool.

Epic Start of 2011 thanks to Aneros

Guys I have had one of the craziest holidays of my life. I experienced my own little holiday miracle. I really should share that story. Cause of all the goings on, I am very behind on just about everything in my life. At the same time, I feeling energized and will strive to make this year the best ever. :D I wanted to start the year off with an image that Aneros sent me as a Christmas gift yesterday. It's really explosive, so you might want to stand back when you click it. XD



I discovered this late last night, a much needed pick me up after many days of stress. Aneros hinted he had a little something for me, but I was not expecting a two character piece like this. I gotta really hand it to Aneros, this is one hell of a dramatic picture. Nothing like two warriors sparing with their cocks out! Those cocks are really yummy. Apis pink tip hanging out drives me wild!!! Dude knows his foreskin. I had to tell him that he should be very proud, for this I feel this is his most extravagant piece ever.
While a bit harder to catch on this lower res, all the textures on the characters look fabu. He did an especially nice job on the sweet gloves on Apis. They actually look very much like real leather, with cracks from use.
Janatus the Brave Ones face is quite sexy and so cartoony at the same time. There's lots of great expression there that really gives the character a heart. That splash of blue on his face looks fantastic. :) Loving his long sexy torso and massive legs. It was very exciting to see him making the cut.
The Apis Bull I could write a book on! His body is to die for and his face is just soooooooo freaking sexy. Blazing blue eyes? DAMN. That contour line above his hot mouth, massive chest, fuzzy skin tone, arms to die for and pillar like legs? Forget about it, this guy should come with a box of tissues. Now I have to admit, I don't think I ever thought about giving him a sword and shield and he looks so natural wielding one, I am glad to see this side of him.
