The Nintendo Segregation Begins: Classic 3D Kid Icarus Withheld From Canadian Customers

My main gripe used to be, where's my Hunky Icarus....but now Nintendo has gone and done something to top that complaint. :(

About 2 years ago I announced my excitement about the new Kid Icarus Uprising game coming to 3DS. Well, let's just say after having to wait an extra year my jets have more then cooled off. The constant delays have made me care less and less about it. Hearing it was a mostly touch screen controlled game also turned me right off. But as the release date draws closer, I can't help, but feel a little excited. After all, there's nothing else for the system. My 3DS has been collecting dust since Christmas. I would appreciate it if Nintendo released a few classic games for the Virtual console, to fill the void between releases, but that section is a desert. These days I feel like I see more releases for PS2 these then the 3DS online shop. I heard that the NES version of Kid Icarus was released in Japan in full 3D. That's pretty cool. I kept wondering why Nintendo didn't bring it out here. Then I found out this morning it's a pre-order bonus for North America. North America, that doesn't include Canada. (That makes sense right?) I never liked the region lock out bullshit that the 3DS has, but this is the first time ever that a game made by Nintendo has been release only in the US. This is not a good thing. It's only going to lead to worse and worse situations in the future. First there was the save issue with the Resident Evil Mercenaries game, now this. I worry about the future of gaming. Right now I feel like Canada just became a part of the 80s European gaming scene. What future limitations will we face? Nintendo is a strange company that just seems to get worse with time.

In Canada we will be getting some card game as a bonus. Yippee. Sorry Pit, I don't want your stupid card game.

Of course I can always drive to the States to pre-order the game. I just have a hunch that since my 3DS has it's location set in Canada, I won't be able to use the code. I am sure the Nazis at Nintendo will see to that. My heart is broken. U__U I love Kid Icarus so much, but they want to keep it from me.

I am fucking sick of downloads, preorder codes and all the fucking bullshit! Enough with the elitist gaming crap! The economy is such crap right now. There is so much unemployment. I really wish they would end this 'you have to order it now' bull and let things sit on the market for people to purchase them when they can. God, my parents would never buy me a game until it was my birthday, or Christmas! XD I would miss out on everything if I grew up in this generation. All this crap just makes me even happier I grew up when I did. I feel for the younger generation, I really do.

Apis Bull At The Beach By Luisazo

Today is Family day here in Canada. I'm taking a break from spending time with my family to share with you guys. This image of my Egyptian hunks at the beach by Luisazo is a perfect physical depiction of how I would really love to spend this holiday.

Standing on a warm beach, putting sun tan lotion on a giant cock and perfect buns of some super hung stud would be much better then sitting at home watching TV. BORING! LOL. Of course it's way too cold to be going to any kind of beach in February, but a man can day dream can't he? I commissioned this around the fall of last year and while it took him a bit of time to start the image, once he did, Luisazo had it done in a couple days. It's a beautiful picture. The guys all look great in his style. I haven't done much with the Egypt Story gang in a long time. I epically like Cleo. The expression coupled with the design of his face is too cute. I think that bull cock has got to be the biggest, thickest, longest uncut dick he has ever drawn. It looks like it could easily support Cleo and Heru. I can see them riding on it! XD

Happy Birthday Urbanmusiq 2012

Last week Sirio, FallenAngel and myself got together to wish Urbanmusiq a little happy birthday. Sadly, my PC was down for most of that week and I never got a chance to post the birthday wishes on his birthday. Well, here they are tonight. Two sexy images featuring many of Lenos loves. :)

Romer Jerks Off At Sunset

This new piece from Caravaggia marks the return of her version of Romer. A character I always enjoyed her drawing very much. It's also one she will be doing again very soon! :) It was also done to be a small tribute to a very famous piece of dinosaur art. Found in the August 1978 issue of National Geographic were some of the most spell binding pieces of dinosaur art of the time. It also featured images from the Royal Ontario Museum. I actively sought after getting my own copy for many years as a child. I grew up in the 80s and since this came out in the late 70s, I didn't know about the National Geographic images until about 1985 when a special hosted by Christopher Reeve showed the front cover. It became a quest for me to find a copy for sale and in the 80s with no E-Bay and lots of reluctant librarians, getting a back issue wasn't always easy to accomplish. At least not for an 8 year old. :P I might have more images that are tributes to the art done in the future. Todays tribute is to the Triceratops image.

Oh look at that, a picture of one of my studs that has an appendage bigger then his dick. :P Romer is really sporting a spiffy crest here. I love the length of it! :D Caravaggia as always did a wonderful job on the colors. The sleek curves of Romers body are made to look even softer by her soft brush strokes. (Digital though they may be! :P) It's really nice to see him done with his Egyptian eye make up and ankh necklace again. He's such a little cuttie with that sly smile! Caravaggia got really playful with his tail too. :P Naughty! XD Thanks so much Caravaggia!

This is the actual image. I loved how the herd is shown moving so far into the background. As a child I would always wonder about what lay behind the horizon of images like this. You could get lost in thought and mystery. The red sky was so inviting and the art of the Triceratops itself is simply gorgeously detailed.

John Carter Gives Tarzan A Mouthful

Today MiO and I are giving a little back to the fans of Dinosaurprince's Kingdom. MiOWorks John Carter and Tarzan Crossing Swords has become one of the most popular images on this blog. So in celebration of that and the fact that I too really wanted to see them in action again, I asked MiO to please do a sequel picture. We went through a few potential poses and MiOWorks came up with something really beautiful. He pumped up John Carter of Mars and Tarzan big time. Check out his huge arms!!! He's been working out! Iron In His Thighs The Mighty Hercules

Oh boy! Todays image by Raul of the Rainbowboys is an absolute Dream come true!!! I wanted to ask artist to draw this character for ages. The Mighty Hercules, start of the long running (and even longer syndicated) cartoon show from the early 60s doesn't get much love these days. I don't think I have ever seen any erotic art of him. (Prove me wrong people!!) I grew up watching the cartoon from long before I can remember. It used to air on Global TV on weekend afternoons along with Godzilla. My friends and I would put on Rings and pretend to be him. It's simple cartoon, but I think the animation, story and style is really classic. I would fantasize about him from time to time. (Blush!) And now those fantasies become reality! Anyway, you guys probably won't understand the absolute thrill this was seeing Raul complete him. He gave him more love then I could have hoped for. Since I am doing a Greek/Roman mythology post, I thought I would sneak this in here. I am looking for the artist and/or the book it appears in. I remember reading it years ago at a local library. It was filled with a lot of partially nude images of Roman Soldiers like this. It also talked in depth about how the Romans loved the male form and strut around and even went into battle naked! :D

Pepsiman was the Japanese mascot for Pepsi. He was created by a Canadian artist, who gave him one circular hole for a mouth. (Perfect for cock sucking.) RPG Dimata Valentines Level UP!

Happy Valentines day 2012 everyone! I hope you woke up to roses all around the bed, a hunky stud in nothing but a speedo holding a big box of heart chocolates. That's how I spent my morning..NOT! XD I did have fun wishing as many people as I could a Happy Valentines day on Facebook. That was fun. And I got one heck of a steaming Valentine in my inbox from KiangSu the other day. It was hard, but I saved it till today to share with you guys. It's RPG Dimata, with a very prehistoric Valentine!

Wow, isn't this just soooooooooooo cute?!!!!!! He did wonderful job with the characters and the coloring. Dimata has one heck of a thick rod. I wonder if he used that to knock out the Triceratops? I really like all those plants at the bottom. It really makes the image so pretty. KiangSu did a great job on the container heart. He added much detail to it, with the scales. I got real kick out of Dimatas expression and how messy that hair is! He reminds me of Spike from Cowboy Bebop! Very adorable!!!!

Last Year Guytoonist created this scrumptious image of JD checking out a slightly Emo Cupid. Guy's Cupid has appeared before, originally way back in 2004. I had a lot of fun with Guy one night discussing about a page worth of Cupid and JD idea. He eventually got around to do an idea just in time for Valentines day. His naughty little Cupid has been given a huge style overhaul. He now dons a black tuque hat, has various piercings and an open button down shirt to name a few things new to his attire. He looks like very modern skater punk now! JD the Jersey Devil Werewolf still manages to steal the spotlight with his toothy grin and big heart eyes! :P

Hot Monkey Love In the Jurassic Jungle

Here's a blast from the past by the artist Kumikoalastar. I commissioned this way back in 2009. It's a really nice hand drawn image of Congo from the game Congo's Caper with Congette, who is now a male counterpart. Kumikoalastar did a fantastic job depicting the young lovers against a fiery backdrop. You can feel the mugginess in the evening air.
I really liked this game back in the day. The cute character designs really stuck with me. When I was in early 20s I sought out the Japanese version of the game. This proved elusive as there was not a lot of information regarding the game to be found online. Gamefaqs was of course no help back then. There was no Wikipedia either. Eventually I did find a seller on E-Bay that recognized it's American name and listed it under both Congo's Caper and Tatakae Genshijin 2: Rookie no Bōken. I got it pretty cheap too. I think for like $10. It's still pretty hard to find images from the Japanese box and manual. So I took the liberty of doing that tonight. Here are some pretty big images for you guys to enjoy! Come back with me to the ancient 1990s! :P

Congo, (or should I say Rookie?) was a very well designed mascot with his cute monkey Ears and tail. His face reminds me a bit of Ranma with hair very similar to color to Sonic. In fact it can be easily be thought that Congo was an attempt to combine a lot of Mascots. Sadly the game was sort of a budget title. It doesn't have a lot of the flash his predecessors Joe & Mac had. Did you notice he's sliding down a rainbow? That was too gay for the American Box Art I guess. We got the usual godawful Americanized crap as usual.

The game is copyrighted 1992, but Rookie's logo says 1993. That's not confusing. Still, I love the logo. Very similar to Sonic the Hedgehogs.
