Speaking of the weekend I picked up Horgihugh and Friends to play on my day off and I gotta say, not a bad little game. Not sure if I would call it a gem, but it certainly has effort and good ideas behind it. I beat it last night on my initial run. That might sound like it was too easy, but keep in mind that I am pretty old school. I didn’t find this one to be frustratingly hard. I can recommend it. Kind of reminds me of Skykid, in that the theming of the game rarely is reflected within the world you play in. So it is unlike something like say parodius, for example. This isn’t really much of cute em up. The theming is kinda all over the place. Still it has ideas and concepts behind it. I am still confused on how certain things work and the in game manual ain’t great. 7/10.

Gaze Upon The Glory Of Dinosaur Prince

I have reason to raise the wine glass today as well.  I decided to play Rank Mode in Splatoon. I always play it when trying to get perfect gear. You get more points per match. Sadly, if I don't get perfect gear, I reload my save and start anew.  All my ranked points vanish, as well as the money. I've been sitting at around S50 for months now.  So, yesterday after getting a perfect re-spawn head gear and sitting at S60, I decided to go for S+ Rank.  It didn't take too long, or much effort.  Save for around S90 when the game pitted me against teams composed of nothing but JRs and Taks. Ugh...They need to nerf Inkzooka again.  4 of those things going at once is worse than 4 E-liters any day.
Anyway...I made it! Yeah, hail to the prince boys! XD And to hear people bitch online, you would think this was hard to do. (Okay ego, calm your ass.)

My set was composed of Special Savor Fang mask, PERFECT, Bomb Range shirt up with one Bomb Range sub and 2 Special Savers and Special Duration up shoes with two Special Charge subs and one Bomb Range sub. I used this for splat zones.  I can defend the zone at a safe distance and go to town with my bomb rush, keeping people at bay for a long time. 

 After obtaining this Perfect Quick Re-Spawn gear, I decided to go to town on Tower Control.  See the shirt in the middle? I had that with the final sub being a special charge up in another save.  I couldn't get it perfect, but I loved how it came out. I had to give it up, as I ordered these headphones on another USB. I kept the save and they came in with two subs. I couldn't pass up getting a perfect, which I got.  I feel shitty about letting it go, but Swim Speed is always sweet too.  Maybe one day I will get this perfect.  There is no denying how awesome a perfect re-spwan gear is, so no tears.

I pissed off a lot of people in Tower Control with this set. I die and come RIGHT back. There is no WAITING TO RE-SPWAN.  As soon as the message is about to appear, I am alive again!!! I wore the fuck out of the other team. Heavy Asian Accent: "LOOK HE BACK AGAIN!"  LOL such a horrible strategy, I know, but God it was fun.  Hey, if I wanted to be evil, I would have used a fucking Luna Blaster, or Roller for constant one hit kill cheese. 
So am I going to go for S+99?  Hmmm I doubt it. I will dabble in S+, but my heart belongs to Turf Wars.  I just adore that mode.  I don't like Rain Maker much, but I do like the hot mess that is Tower and Splat Zones are like mini Turf Wars.  Who knows?  When I hit B+ and then A+, I was going to stop.  Gotta chase that carrot, right?

Lil Prehistoric Party Studs

I'm going to make it my mission this weekend to post the last 4 of the sweet images I got for my birthday, one a day till Sunday.  Decided to start it up with this super cute and sexy card from Maduinshorn. Someone was certainly channeling his inner Frank Frazetta.  That someone was of course my dear friend Guytoonist.  This piece, which belongs on the cover of a sex packed fantasy novel, was a birthday gift.  Makalee draws the eye to so instantly focus on him, that you might just miss the bone throne he sits upon.  Hee hee.   The image just shoots your eyes straight to his massive cock. As they say , absence makes the heart grow fonder and I am very fond of this new explosive piece from her! :D This started out with a Valentines theme in mind, but Tonberry did it so that it could also be used year round. (Making this post a little less embarrassing that it took me so long to post it!)   Tonberryknight took on both Joey and the Dinosaur Prince for the first time.  They look really sweet.  Joeys looks like a lean, fast fighter.  His brown skin shines nicely in the arena lights.  Dinosaur Prince has a very strong regal face.  I especially love the way she cupped the foreskin around Joeys penis head and the long flowing locks on DP.

Witching Hour Halloween Post 2012!

The Pumpkins have moved into the living room.  Their glow has created the perfect atmosphere for me to do this final Halloween post of 2012.  To end the season, I have images by FallenAngel and MiOworks.  The image by MiOworks is part of a little holiday gift for FallenAngel.   Fallen does so very much for so many people, myself included I wanted to get him a treat in the form of his trick Oni.  His Oni is so cute. Dinosaur Prince Rides High ON A Giant Dick by Cray

This is the second of my Dinosaur Prince and the Giant Dick series. This absolutely amazing image was done by none other then long time supporter Cray. Cray always seems to add a little something extra to his image for me and this time was no exception. He went all out and then some, doing a graphic novel style image of the character Dinosaur Prince. The level of detail in the shading is just astounding. DP has never looked exotic. The graphic novel look makes me instantly think of the old comics from the 70s and 80s. Titles like Conan, Tarzan and John Carter instantly come to mind. (As did the original art for Talespin. :P) It great to see what this character would look like back in the days of the great adventure comics. :D This would make an exception comic book cover.

It certainly makes me think of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure when I take in all of Belvadars dark muscular features and beautiful shading. Being such an old school video game lover, I want to say the coloring also reminds me very fondly of Metriod. Specifically the way the Alien monsters were colored in the manual for the first game. I think DP is reminding me of Kraid from the original instructions. :P
One thing is for sure, you can't mistake an image drawn by Baralust, as the work of anyone else. Dinosaur Prince Lounges In The Jungle

Oh gosh, big ass post below! XD So I have been in a mood to do more and more with Dinosaur Prince. A couple weeks ago I asked FallenAngel to take him on. I have to say, this is one of his most beautiful creations this year. He looks like such a peaceful, kind ruler. You may recognize one cameo here. :P

He did a great job on the colours on his body and sexy, long tick hair. Really love how heavy his big balls look resting on the Saber Tooth cheetah blanket. Speaking of Dinosaurs, I was at the theater yesterday. They had Spider-man cups at the concession stand. I so wanted one. I thought the cups looked pretty cool, even if they do just use the current movie posters. The problem? You have to buy a $21 combo and you have to be Scene card member, just to get a flimsy cup that will fall apart after it's second use.
Hoo boy, did that get me thinking about the good old days, of not too long ago. I mean, remember in the 90s when you got 1 of 6 different Jurassic Park cups at McDonald's with your purchase of a large drink, or combo meal? NO EXTRA CHARGE and the cups lasted a long time, especially if you didn't put them into the dishwasher. Not only that, but they had original art on them!!!!! I still have all of mine. U__U This summer has been pretty weak for merchandise in Canada. We didn't get the Avengers cups, so I really wanted to get the Spider-Man one, but I was not dishing out $24 for a cup.
Anyway some time ago I found 3 of the cups scanned online and I was waiting for the perfect time to post them here. The guy actually cut the cups and then fixed up the image where needs be. I hope they do more, but I doubt it as these ones were done some time ago.

They even gave you little dinosaur cut outs with your meal. How freaking cool was McDonald's back then? :D

So what movie did I see? I saw Brave. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a good solid picture. It could have benefited from a better developed central villain and some sort of quest element. There's one big buff Celtic warrior that I know Ephorox and others will soon be drawing. To me it was like Brother Bear, in the world of How to Train your Dragon (minus the dragons), where everyone talks like Shrek, with a Beauty and the Beast ending and with Huey, Dewey and Louie thrown in for good measure. LOL I guess you could say it felt like a cut and paste production made to coast on the popularity of recent hits. Seriously. There's even a little bit of Legend of Zelda in here.
The cartoon that plays before, La Luna sets the tone for what is to come, by ripping off Super Mario Galaxy. (Which is made even more obvious by having the Wreck it Ralph preview shown only moments before.)

Can kid look any less like a young Super Mario? Color his hat red and you would hard pressed to say he's not Mario. Nintendo could sue! LOL! :P The story is about three characters, that could just be direct family members of Mario, that have to clean stars off the Moon. Hey, wait a second, didn't we have to constantly clean a planet in Super Mario Galaxy? O_O There's a scene where the young boy climbs to the moon and experiences a very gentle flip in gravity, that is eerily similar to the game as well. The is only one small structure on the Moon, much like there was only Rosalina's small house on the Moon at the start of Galaxy.

Little stars fall on the moon! The little Mario goes to pick them up! Hey, that's VERY familiar!!!!

Guess what kind of Star he has to get at the climax of the film? Yep that's right a giant GRAND STAR. I had half a mind to start booing the screen.

I would have no problem with this film if somewhere, someone at Pixar admitted to having used Super Mario Galaxy as a jumping point. (I really think they should have even just paid Nintendo and used the Super Mario Galaxy characters.) What makes it so infuriating to me is that no one at Pixar will EVER admit it. They will just take in all the praise and let their egos inflate. Sigh... I guess the rest of the world will be content to swallow their claim, since they are such untouchable Gods of animation. BAH! Then again, it's not like this is the first time they have been found ripping people off to get ideas for films. Oh well, at least when I made the Galaxy Snail I admitted to being directly influenced by one of the most beautiful games of all time.

Anyway getting back to the cups, there's a bit of a happy ending to my plight. The merchandise fairies must have felt my dismay, cause when I woke up there was a huge garage sale happening right across the street. I found some really cool stuff like a near mint Dakin Garfield from 1981 for 50 cents. He still has the plastic where the cardboard tag should be.

Some of my favorite characters, Luigi and Officer Big Mac, this really sweet Brer Bear Disneyland car and all the other little figures were only 25 cents each! :D

I wanted to go back and get more characters for myself and friends, but I waited too long and everyone had packed up and left by the time I returned. Oh well, it was awesome. One lady had so many Animaniacs and Snoopy toys it was crazy. Most were pretty banged up. I saw stuff I had forgotten about for years.
